Heavy Duty Dust Collector In Thermal Power Plant With PTFE Pleated Bag
Fabric filters, also known as Baghouses, are used to filter dust and particulate from a gas stream. This type of filter is the most common form of abatement equipment in the world, with literally hundreds of thousands of installations. Fabric filters come in all sizes ranging from small bin vent collectors to very large dust collectors that can handle a million cubic feet per minute (cfm) of air or gas, or more.
Often a fabric filter is a key element in an overall abatement solution with dry scrubbing and absorption systems, for example. In these instances, the baghouse is part of an engineered (or custom) solution.
BDC Fabric Filter Dust Collector
Baghouse are the most versatile dust collector style and can be used in all applications. Baghouse collectors with traditional bag filters are preferred for applications with larger or mixed range of dust particle sizes, heavier dust loading, fibrous/sticky dusts or higher temperatures (normally up to 550F, in some cases up to 750F with specialty fabrics). The filters in baghouses have a much longer useful service life compared to cartridges and can handle much harsher applications.
BDC dust collector is designed with modular and multi-filters that can be ducted to different applications like metal grinding, wood working, composites, buffing and polishing, blasting, welding fume, chemical mixing and processing.
